*  You may notice that Charles is listed in the wedding announcement with the middle name of HANDEL.  It seems Minnie's parents had once asked Charles what the initial H stood for in his name, and he jokingly replied, "Why, that's my handle!" Not realizing he was joking, they assumed that to be his middle name, so the announcements were printed as such!
